Black Classical Artistry
In honor of founder Armenta Hummings Dumisani’s 90th birthday on June 27, Gateways invites 90 donors to make a gift of any amount and help turn 90 years of legacy into lasting support for the future of Black artistry in classical music. When we reach 90 donors, Gateways will unlock an additional $5,000 matching challenge gift.
Your one-time gift — or monthly or quarterly recurring donation — helps Gateways plan boldly, support artists with care, and build a legacy that inspires generations.
All donations made between May 27 and June 30, 2026, will support the Gateways Giving Day campaign. Thank you for helping sustain the artists, performances, and community that carry this legacy forward.
